The Zoom ADSL X6 is an all-in-one solution for sharing ADSL service. The X6 provides all the
features you'll need to make your ADSL access secure, easy to share, and easy to use. A
built-in wireless-G router enables wireless networking to computers, notebooks, and other devices
with 802.11g or 802.11b wireless capability. Its ADSL 2/2+ support provides modem data speeds up to 24 Mbps.
The ADSL X6 integrates a full-rate ADSL modem, router, NAT firewall, four-port 10/100 Ethernet switch,
USB port and wireless functionality into a single cost-effective product. Concurrent Ethernet
and USB connections are supported for flexibility in operating with a range of devices. Up to
five computers can be plugged into the X6 directly, not including wireless users, and each can
enjoy simultaneous independent Web and e-mail access.
The built-in four-port Ethernet switch eliminates the need for a separate Ethernet hub for most home
networks and many small offices. The USB port allows direct connection of a fifth computer. By
adding an external hub the X6 can provide simultaneous Internet access for up to 253 computers. Wireless
capabilities increase this already potent product.
The NAT firewall protects your computers from intruder attacks through the broadband connection.
Setup is easy using any authorized local or remote computer's Web browser and the built-in graphical
user interface.
